It's cheap, it gets the job done, and the clear back lets you advertise to everyone that, yes, I have an iPhone so I'm legit. I got this case because I needed something to clip my phone to scrub pants. There is no screen protection, but the fact that the margins of the case displace the screen from surface contact when the phone is resting face down helps. I'd been putting my iPhone in my front scrub shirt pocket and it would routinely fall out whenever I leaned forward too much. Leaning over things like toilets to flush them and kick buckets to pick up wayward rayteks (yes I am a ms3) prompted me to seek a belt clip option even though I'm more of a pocket guy. If you don't need a good, sturdy holster design that keeps your phone out of toilets and other sundry receptacles for human fluids and waste, and you just need a case that is slimmer and is easier to pocket, check out ilounge for reviews. This case is a little bulky, and when I'm not in the hospital I don't use it because as far as a pocketable phone goes, the iPhone is perfect as is.
My buddy recommended this case and so do I. The plexi is raised in all the right places, most notably around the screen unlike other cheap cases I've seen this is it.
It has a rubberized coating over the back and sides of the phone making it easy to grip and never slip. My title says it all, but I'll go on to say that this case is highest quality built with 2-3 mm thick plexiglass material and not plastic.
You slide your iPhone in and snap close. Even if you do slip like I did on a flight of 10 concrete stairs, the case never shattered into pieces nor did my iPhone.
It stayed in one solid piece with zero damage to my iPhone and a small nick on the rubberized coating.The case opens like a mouth but doesn't separate. Look no more, you've found the best.

The holster is exactly what I wanted. I bought my first iPhone this summer (how did I ever live without it.). I thoroughly researched all kinds of holsters and finally settled on this one. I didn't think I'd like the clear parts of the case that cover some of the face of the phone, but it's not bothered me at all (it holds close to the phone). The clip seems strong and holds well to my pants or skirt waistband (I don't use it with a belt) - sometimes I wear it on the outside of my waistband and sometimes on the inside if there's room (which helps reduce the bulky look under my shirt). I bought it in early September and have no regrets so far.
It holds the iPhone tightly in place - I've not had any fears of it falling out. and quickly discovered that I needed some kind of (1) case to protect it, and (2) some sort of clip holder for my outfits without pockets. I can place the iPhone in the holster face in or face out. The case is solid but not too bulky, and the material it's made out of allows for a good hand grip but doesn't cling to my pants pocket or collect pocket lint. The case fits snuggly around the iPhone, but as others have reported, it is very hard to open once it's on the phone. I also like that the clip can be installed to have the holster sit vertically or horizontally or in between, and it's adjustable so I can change it at any time (although you have to actually remove the clip and install it at the new angle, it doesn't rotate while attached to the holster).
Overall, I would definitely buy this product again and highly recommend it if this is the type of product you're looking for.
The iPhone stays in. Fortunately the plastic that they use for the back and clip really loves Crazy Glue as mine broke and I just Crazy Glued the clip back into the base of the holder for the iPhone.
It's a sturdy case and the clip rotates.Now some things you need to know: Every case that comes into contact with the back of the iPhone will grind dirt into the back of the iPhone. This one is no different.
This is the best clip case I've found for the iPhone 3x series. Oh, the back is transparent (helps when you have two iPhones in the house and the only way to tell them apart in a hurry is that one is white and one is black)Also one reviewer posted that his clip broke where it fits into the holder.
One thing that is different is that the hinge will cause scratches on the back of the iPhone where the back hinges. Yes, just under the model, etc on the back, over time you will have a horizontal line of small vertical scratches from the back hinge.
I always used the clip pointing sideways (so that the iPhone paralleled my belt when clipped) so having it stuck in that position wasn't a huge issue for me. It can be reversed for wearing on the other side and the iPhone can be clipped with the screen facing in or out and the whole thing (after the Crazy Glue) is bullet proof and I'm harsh on belt clip phone holsters (I have toasted way too many over the years).I have had the same Showcase for over two years and would get another one if this one is unrepairable.Highly rated for durability, one ding for the hinge scratches.
The belt holster is very well made. I have a screen protector on my phone so the case fits a little tight.I can see pressure points (dark marks) on the bottom of the screen where the case is hitting the screen protector. It encloses the entire phone except for the screen, buttons, speakers, jacks, and camera. I had several people try to remove the phone from the holster, and both of them had to use two hands.one to press open the holster, and the other to remove the phone.
This soft area allows you to still use the power button, but protects it as well. This is a great case all around for the iphone. The clip snaps on to the holster in several directions so you can wear the phone vertical or horizontal. I scratched the inside of this clear plastic just putting my phone in the case. If you're not using a screen protector, you shouldn't have this problem.
The phone fits in the holster really snug which is great. I imagine that in a couple weeks, the back will be totally scratched up. Even the power button is covered with a softer rubber material than the rest of the case which is a semi-hard, matte plastic material. This is good for me since I'm very active. The case is VERY hard to open once snapped shut.
Eventually I gave up trying to open it. The only issue I have with this case is that the front face and the almost the entire back has clear plastic that is easily scratched. Oh well, better to scratch up the case than the phone.
